The Red Goddess

Lost amongst the desolate catacombs spiraling deep beneath the kingdom’s absent orchard.
I find the final few fragile strands of light perish into the ambient enigma of my mind’s eye, searching for solace in the infernal depths once again.
I have found her
She looks to me, with those eyes calling out to join her in the tranquility of thick haze radiating over the beckoning abyss.
The pleasurable resistance of life has brought me to the moment as I Tighten the strings of fading time around my neck.
forget that you ever existed
for the days beyond the dark lurk to permeate your heart's will to live, for it was never yours to give
For I am that lost soul none wishes to find.
None to ever call out my name
None to ever cry over my forgotten body
place your hand in mine
lay your eyes still and relax your mind of thoughts
beyond the black veil that shrouds all of life's trepidations lies the delusion of hate which dwells underneath the glaze of your eyes.
every moment you stay with me brings forth yet another shroud of life coming to fruition underneath your stagnant mind,
being that it is only a matter of time until your blood fades into mine.
prevailing drops running out of each cut. cascading lines of crimson life fall to flourish over your lips, greeting me with a warm, red embrace just as before.
I have found my peace.
