Legends Never Die

Legends and myths embark us on a journey
To places where we have never been
The wind brings a message, and I hear her calling
Heed not to what is physical, but to what is within.
-
Is there some truth to the legends?
Or are their messages pure fiction?
Stuck in this hell, the words bring me a taste of heaven
All I must do is close my eyes and listen.
-
To the voice of an angel caressing my keen ears
Having faith means believing even if I don’t know why
With a lightened heart and liberated soul, I feel no fear
I hold on to the hope that legends never die.
-
I embark on a journey to discover more of this legend
Is it true that a hero will come save us all?
From an eternity of repenting for our ancestors’ sins
I have faith that we shall rise after the fall.
-
To the voice of an angel caressing my keen ears
Having faith means believing even if I don’t know why
With a lightened heart and liberated soul, I feel no fear
I hold on to the hope that legends never die.
