A faceless troll
painting our passions
with venomous rage
I've seen them emerge from the corners
defiling our revelations
in harsh, hurtful strokes

jealous and jaded

I wholly agree with you I've been guilty of judging after being judged for my darkness but my heart still believes what I said above...

Poetry is subjective and can be appreciated on many different levels...as Hemingway stated "We are all apprentices in a craft where no one ever becomes a master"...and I reiterate Brenda, a poet would know we all have a unique voice.

And a poet knows if the poem isn't moving them, move on without a dig. But you know this.
