Tanka #2... Progress

What we call progress doesn't just happen by itself. It is cooked up by hundreds of busy brains, who decide what progress is to mean to us. Mostly it is driven by business interests and political agenda....you are right though...we are not being considered much.

"Technology=Progress" is the new sacred ideology that shalt not be questioned. Hence or Lords and Masters telling us to "Adapt or Die!"

Trouble is I don't want to adapt to (for example) a cashless society where the privacy of every minute cup-of-coffee transaction is monitored by a privately-owned company selling my data. Perhaps the 'adapt' element might be for people to take back their power by inventing and using their own local currencies (we have a limited one where I now live in the middle of nowhere in central Portugal).
