A Chill Of Winter

Shattered winds roll in off the hills
carrying within the chills of winter

come closer and lean into me
let me hold you to my soul
close your eyes to yesterdays
I'll keep you from the cold

entwine your arms around my neck
and look deeply into my eyes
your scent surrounds and comforts me
wherever our bodies may lie
