trembling like a child

while we race for the moon  
and dance on Saturn  
   
ancient scrolls bear our likeness  
the Earth foretold our coming  
you see me through the centuries    
same woman different form  
   
your words shook the heavens    
in search of me  
I wrote endless archaic love letters to my deity  
until you reached in and found me  
   
awoken to love, I ache  
with hunger so great it makes a riff  
the time continuum is torn  
I walk through touching you  
   
tasting you in the aether    
I twirl in your energy  
get high on your lusts  
   
I'm alive in the here and now  
in this moment    
we are one...
