Deadly Melody

And here she stands
God’s deadly little melody,

But I was taught that I’ve been forsaken and broken
born into a body
that my mind continuously fought and finally ripped apart.

Though she was the Angel
whose wings granted envy
 but tell me.
What gracious all-loving Father
would lead his lamb to the slaughter?
Mangled with intent
and loves a broken record
still after all laughter’s the greatest weapon
to a blue eyed devil
The predator that has come to croon the Heaven sent.

It went like this
when Girl met Boy,
lies piled and filed
the edges of Miss fortune’s knife, it all became so dull
and stole the magic out of spite,
so when Boy met Girl poison was the only remedy that night...

It was real
that I’ll agree,
it wasn’t a teenage phase
still there’s a fire that won’t stop flickering,
 it’s like a wildfire.
dancing in the distance waiting
for your dry humor to set it ablaze...

Reincarnation’s a tricky little thing,
what hell could possess the devil
to inherit such a unfit King,
Jack amongst the Pawns shifting through the debris
with a Spade in hand and pinky up for the Queen...
Gotta stay classy when all is a fallacy.
it’s all a game when the players play,
but when artists step in,
it’s still a tragedy all the same.
I wish you well but you and I know
time can’t change feelings of friendship,
I’d pick up the phone but I guess you feel it’s better to be left alone, with that little sheep hiding in wolves clothing..
