Whore Poet
Silly wabbit
She fell for it
Hook line and sinker
Wasn't much the deep thinker
Like she perceived herself to be
Deceived herself so she did
Afflicted with tunnel vision
Seeing only her desires in front of her
And not the full scope of the situation
She pushed on full steam ahead
And down the wabbit hole she went
Peeked her head into his inbox
Trying to become tonight's entertainment
Just for starters
Fed him an appetizer
Flirted like the rest
Stroked his ego just like the rest
Skirted with the possibilities of a rendezvous
They went from erotic texting
To late night phone sexing
Then they got down to the nitty gritty
She gave up the kitty
And incidentally her heart
So was the beginning of their chemical romance
That never stood a chance
She was Cinderella at the dance
Then the clock struck twelve
She opened her eyes
And saw a ballroom littered with Cinderellas
All with glitter in their eyes
Waltzing with multiple clones of him
Lead astray by his words
Nervously she reached out
To touch the version she was enamored with
Saw that he was only paper thin
Just like his poetry
It must have been time for him to shed his skin
And slither freely about like a snake
Disguised as a gentleman
She fell for it
Hook line and sinker
Wasn't much the deep thinker
Like she perceived herself to be
Deceived herself so she did
Afflicted with tunnel vision
Seeing only her desires in front of her
And not the full scope of the situation
She pushed on full steam ahead
