Faded Horizons Rebirthing
Cover the sunlight
Let all of us be shaded
Beneath little lights
Flickering like holy candles
Ablaze in cool october
A slight drizzle will fall
On leaves orange
and yellow
Lovely are your eyes
Mostly at midnight
Above my drab mood
Looking at my face
Filled with apathetic boredom
Rebirth of horizons faded
In days that died slowly
Like the hope of a newborn
Losing innocents slowly
O, my lovely, my dear
Let us fade
Into our winter
Love into hatred
As our souls slowly wither.
Let all of us be shaded
Beneath little lights
Flickering like holy candles
Ablaze in cool october
A slight drizzle will fall
On leaves orange
and yellow
Lovely are your eyes
Mostly at midnight
Above my drab mood
Looking at my face
Filled with apathetic boredom
Rebirth of horizons faded
In days that died slowly
Like the hope of a newborn
Losing innocents slowly
O, my lovely, my dear
Let us fade
Into our winter
Love into hatred
As our souls slowly wither.
