The way things are
Skies of peach kiss the mountain tops
Tender green grows after last night's rain
Symphony of birds awoken
greeting life as the day unfolds its wings
Somewhere an old man died in his sleep
And the world turns....

Re. The way things are
beautiful Angel I love the contrasting beauty
of nature with the old man's death
because dying in your sleep is beautiful too...
gorgeous ink...

Thank you Crim...yes, this is supposed to be a poem of beauty and harmony, as designed by nature.

That's beautiful, Ange... and painted with just the right-sized brush. Not easy to hang lush words on a spare framework. Kudos... you just pulled off a fine piece of work. ely

Yes, the World keeps spinning & the birds keep singing despite everything.
