I love you are three words uttered way too loosely
Love is a second hand emotion that can be costly
Occasionally we're deceived and believe folks care
Venomous words hurled can come out of nowhere
Even if you go above and beyond by giving your all
You can never know if one is plotting your downfall
Our only resolve is to stand up tall throughout it all
Utilizing our perseverance when we want to crawl
