You were my passion
All I had in my head were your thoughts
You were my biggest secret that couldnt be hidden.
I wish I could turn the tide
And give you my pain not to hurt you but for you to know how hurt I was
Maybe only then will you realize that I gave you my all.
And you left me with nothing but a shattered heart.
I wish I could turn back the hands of time
And go back to the first time we met,
It was a cloudy day, yet your smile still brightened up the day.
My life was so quiet and peaceful,
But then you came like the silhouette of my soul
Walking right through my heart
Everything was so wonderful and sweet
Because I shared it with you
Of all we shared yet you shattered my heart into a million pieces.
Did I really deserve this pain?
You were the only one I trusted
I dont believe I will ever know the true definition of the word trust
Cos its meaning is far too easily broken
And very difficult to fix
Never again will I allow love and trust to govern my life.
I feel like Im to blame
But then the only thing I had to claim was our love
And now am left with nothing but a broken heart and trust
