A Far Off Beach
I want to share your swing for a long kiss,
That lasts forever on a far-off beach;
I want to feel your lips, as they dismiss
All distractions, that are out of your reach;
I want our brows to brush and locks to touch,
My hands upon your shoulder, fingers spread;
I want to hear you whisper so too much
Is always shared between us;
Silence fled
A long, long time ago, when we first paired
Up; and found our closeness was replete;
With your arm round my waist, I've always fared
Much better than alone: it's hard to beat
The company that your smile always brings,
When I'm sat on your lap on seaside swings.
That lasts forever on a far-off beach;
I want to feel your lips, as they dismiss
All distractions, that are out of your reach;
I want our brows to brush and locks to touch,
My hands upon your shoulder, fingers spread;
I want to hear you whisper so too much
Is always shared between us;
Silence fled
A long, long time ago, when we first paired
Up; and found our closeness was replete;
With your arm round my waist, I've always fared
Much better than alone: it's hard to beat
The company that your smile always brings,
When I'm sat on your lap on seaside swings.
