HER AMAZING GRACE

She danced and danced like she had not a care in the world
A Queen in vibrant colors that flapped as she twirled
While wearing purple, the color of royalty, she ignored everything around her
When everything seems bleek she doesn't allow it to cause her to be deterred

Never scurred to dance to the beat of her own drum
Dancing brings forth peace & freedom in this woman
Like the sun, she shines bright despite those trying to cause an eclipse
When the haters try to persuade her to join the shadows, she jumps ship

Ending those relationships, cutting ties, and then rides on calmer tides
She sees through the lies and has oracle instincts residing inside
With arms spread wide she glides across the floor with pure elegance
Maintaining balance and evading the violence with her stance

Her dance makes her feel in tuned with her African ancestors
Giving her the guidance and strength to survive the molesters
The ones trying to rape her of her pride and beautiful smile
While all awhile they're admiring her grace and natural hair style
