Murmurations

November soon, nests to be found
tell your friends not to delay
murmurate above the trees
swoop and gamble laugh and sing
join us in  harmony,fright away
the hawk,crows too,evenings turned
to ballet, choreographed  none
to understand. Celebrate  this
 autumn festival, folk songs
of the countryside.Sing loud !
Winter comes but once a year
November will be gone,
December waits,murmuration
one more time, crowd the trees
and you are safe.
