Metaphorically

I'm a working pony
ploughing the oft
turned over the soil of poetry.
On the race track
of pedigree mounts
                     chasing medals and
                      honours, the  pony looks
                      bewildered
                      but in the end
                      we are Equus Ferus
and domesticated.
