Go with Mercy
The path ahead I could not see.
The way that led to where unguided.
And the many turns I took abound.
Walk with me a while...
Your way it had a pattern made
That led you to a clearing found.
The same we saw, in a moments stillness
A shaft of light, a mark in timeless
And stopped the world to take a breath.
Then walked again, with me a while...
Our paths were lost, I did not see
No choices clear, which way turned when.
Without your hand I carried on
But no way back, now too narrow.
And pushing close the maze was twisted
And alone I found my journey endless.
For you were gone, I walked alone...
If winding roads of life should fate us
A crossing of our ways again.
Then with a rage of muted cries
I’ll hack against the tangled maze.
With blooded limbs I shall not falter
To love the days and nights so brief
Hold them dear, to account, not leave.
And always watch for darkened shadows
For hidden paths that split and lead
To where you would not walk with me...

But no way back, now too narrow.

With blooded limbs I shall not falter
To love the days and nights so brief
Hold them dear, to account, not leave.

To where you would not walk with me...
