A Beautiful Storm
She is decaying,
Yet she is still trying to bloom,
She is falling,
Yet she is still trying to stand,
She is frowning,
Yet she is still trying to smile,
Although her stem is curved and her leaves are broken,
Does not mean she will always remain in pain,
God will provide her the nutrients she needs to remove that stain in her heart and allow her to reach that storm that once tore her apart,
Many assumed she would never grow,
Though the sidewalk kept her in place,
She was always taught to embrace,
The strength in her stem,
The charm in her leaves,
The confidence in walking through her storms,
And the fight to keep herself standing,
If she just learn to love herself completely,
She is capable of anything and everything,
Regardless of her scars and flaws,
She’s a blessing in disguise,
She’s able to keep herself at peace,
Many didn’t know she was a rose that grew from concrete
