"Natural Selection" as Found in Genesis Chapter One

According to Darwinian Evolution, Nature selects which species will survive.
Its a matter of how well they adapt to the environment, etc.

Likewise in Genesis One, instead of God Himself creating the great variety of lifeforms that are in the world, He delegates the work of creating lifeforms to NATURE.
For we read that God commanded the seas to "bring forth abundantly the living creatures that reproduce after their kind"(Genesis 1.20).
And later He commanded the land to "bring forth the living creatures after their kind"(Genesis 1.24).
Three categories of land animals are presented: "cattle, wild beasts, and creeping things".

In verses 20 and 24 the "reproducing after their own kind" is not all that is going on.
For "bring forth abundantly" in verse 20 and the variety in verse 24 convey that early species produced additional species, not just their own kind!!

So here we have the Bible advocating macro-evolution: one specie developing into many species!!!  You could almost say that Moses, the author of Genesis was a proto-Darwinian.

Of course, the "six days" of Creation Week would have to be expanded to vast eons. But the Apostle Paul gives us permission to interpret the "days" as eons. For Paul says,"By faith we understand that the ages ("aionos" in the Greek) were framed by the Word of God" (Hebrews 11.3). Paul is actually putting aside the "days" of Genesis One, and replacing them with the Greek word,"aionos" - from which we get the English word "eon."

Any dictionary that gives you the background of a word will tell you that "eon" started off as "aionos."  While most versions of the Bible translate "aionos in Hebrews 11.3 as  "the universe" or as "the worlds,"
there are actually 3 versions that translate "aionos" correctly as a time word not as a spacial word.
Jubilee 2000 Bible is one of the three.

Paul "putting aside" the figurative speech that Moses used ("days" for ages)  is an example of his acting like a man, an adult.
For Paul wrote, "When I was a child I thought as a child..but when I became a man I PUT ASIDE CHILDISH THINGS" (1 Corinthians 13.11). Its high time the Church around the world followed Paul's lead in regard to Genesis One.

One more thing: Paul said that if someone goes against his gospel, " Let him be accursed"(Galatians 1.8-9) !!
"Anathema" in the Greek !!
This means that the YEC folks ("Young Earth Creationists") are surely under that curse.
For they go against Paul's Gospel by holding onto "Creation Week" made up of 6 24-hour days!!!
