POET  BEE  CATASTROPHE

Kevin says write every day,
honing skill many way,
modest subjects bubble away,
what seemed work,
no longer shirked,
becomes joy,
recurring toy,
turning labouring writer,
into playful midnight oil skiter.

Writing thirty nine poems,
sitting among garden gnomes,
trying not to foam,
snakes scorpions slithering,
imagination shielding dithering,
incorporating into story,
was mundane now allegory,
previous reader interest slumber,
now rapidly expanding unencumber,
gosh hope don't blunder,
perhaps Kevin will thunder.

Which begins first,
is it thought burst,
slowly style nursed,
intellect abandoned cursed,
intuition playful terse,
rhyme energetically aspersed,
abstraction obsessively immersed,
poet reading rehearse,
writing done unpursed,
perhaps followed by need hearse.

Should use computer,
exposure word range shooter,
pen to paper cuter,
printed dictionary thesaurus,
word expanding glorious,
other form composition mode,
limiting experience toad,
neophyte learning wrong road,
leading to poet bee catastrophe.

About the story,
written success bringing glory,
Hollywood voracious everything wary,
movie factory turning author hoary,
financial success leading to Hollywood Hills,
process mind numbing making author dills,
brain exhaustion bereft inspiration,
necessary writer leaving nation,
searching Rift Valley origination.

Wandering among trees,
birds butterflies bees,
profusing greenery making sneeze,
smiling laughing sensitive ease,
sitting on big log,
live audience,
many species frog,
pen paper beginning nature blog,
rhyming association meaning snog,
retrieving creative impulse from cultural smog.

Nature restoring stable view planet life,
returning integration balance free strife,
season rhythms natures cycles,
enduring writing not for trifles,
telling life stories,
explicating human struggle glories,
technical skills forming,
human stories informing.
