"Geek!"
You say that like it's a bad thing ,
Like it's something people should be ashamed of.
But why? Because some of us happen to fall in love with the same gender?
Because our interests are out of the ordinary?
Because we might dye our hair wacky colors and wear clothes that don't fit your "normal"?
I see nothing wrong with us being ourselves.
People really suck at insults.

then they reel you in , and gut you...really !

Though , here is something really positive...
When I lived in Santa Cruz , Ca. , back in the 80's
this was when the big Goth / Emo / Piercing / Tattoo
Craze was going at the same time as the real active
LGBT movement there...
We even had a local , who worked in two different
restaurants , called Enigma , who was tattooed top
of shaved head to feet in puzzle pieces...
So , the City Council and Mayor , who were rather
extremely progressive then , passed a ordinance
stating no business could discriminate against any
one applying for , or working a job...
All of a sudden , we had workers in high class places ,
with foot high mohawks , colored hair , piercings all over ,
goth outfits , all kinds of wild clothing...
Let alone local government offices...it was great...
Until the next "regime" came in , and started clamping down...;)

And I'm sorry to hear about your mother Whipped, although I'm a tad confused on how that helps..? The poem was meant to be positive in a sense, saying that as people, we should be able to be who we want to be without having people judge us for it.

This ink takes me waaaaaaaaaaay back to my HS days in Northern California.
I was teased for similar shit but after I went out (and played for 4 years) Varsity Football no one teased me anymore I guess because I belonged somewhere -- even though my first 3 years the coaches we had did not like me because in my high school <A> Students did not go out for jock sports like Football. I stuck with it because my family life was more fucked up than anything high school could shove at me.
Anyways,
