is it too much to ask for

i don't ask for much in life
good mental health , a mentally well mind
close friends to hang out with
maybe a relationship
i don't ask for the world
and yet i might aswell be asking for the world
because my wants and pleas are never answered
some of you , you want everything
your not just happy with the minimal
friends relationship good job , holidays
you want it all! everything from a better house
to a better career, more clothes, more holidays
its constant wanting , when you already have enough to be content
there is always something extra that you need
and its wanting all of the time
receiving all of the time
and no matter how much good you have
you are craving more , wanting more
you want the whole world in your lap
and yet all i want right now is mental health
friends to see, hang out with
and more of a normal life
yet it feels like im asking life for a miracle to occur
sometimes, and that im not allowed the simplest of things
and yet all of you , you want the world
why can't you be happy with what you have
instead of constantly reaching out for more and more and more
why always more ? why even with so much happiness
are you constantly on the reach for more
when some people only ask for the simple things
and they struggle to even obtain
greedy, wanting, constant racing around for more and more
do you know what you are doing
i don't know what i'm doing in this life
it makes zero sense to me
just to obtain a completely normal life
am i asking for a miracle to occur
i sometimes think the world denies me what i want
just because it hates me
