The Unveiling

        
I'm at the edge of nowhere    
gazing at the eye of nod    
it blinks
while keeping in time    
with my questions    
  
never answering    
just drinking in my queries    
in frustration    
I cry out to this knowing presence    
  
"please give me some kind of sign"    
  
I wait for a thousand years    
inside my questions    
with nothing to direct me    
I get lost within the nowhere    
  
I see it still watching me    
and with it's glare    
begging me an answer    
  
"it asks how far will you wander    
into the nothing you know naught of?"   
  
in defiance I say    
  
"I will go my way    
I'll thank you to stop watching"    
  
the great eye rolls back    
and starts to spin    
then freezes and begins to play    
my entire life    
right from the beginning    
  
"he's says look and look close    
the answers you seek    
were there all along"    
  
"I left giant signs    
on the walls of your mind    
you just disregarded them"    
  
"so take your time
we have all the time you need    
to learn the lessons set before you"    
  
"this is a quest of the universe"    
  
"you will not pass through
to the eternal somewhere    
stomping your little feet inside the nowhere"    
  
"I've spoken and let it be recorded    
you've been given instruction"
