October Song
Do you remember the last time that we made love
That October night in 2010
Halloween morning way above
The city lights and that was when
I reached Nirvana in your strong arms
And then
The shit hit the fan
If it was only possible
To rewind to that time
When my hand slid into yours
Like silk
And I melted in your arms
Like butter
And we kissed for hours
We moved in time and our rhythm
Was a spiritual song a gospel hymn
And how I still long
To again sing my October song
With you providing backup
And front up top up and bottom up
That sweet melody
You were the magician
Who captivated my attention
You filled me to completion
Brought my fantasies to fruition
Magical Hawaiian King
You were my hot spring
Of passion
And yet all these years later
After you cast me aside
It is time to exorcise you
From my mind
So goodbye Big K
You have been replaced
With another song and another face
That October night in 2010
Halloween morning way above
The city lights and that was when
I reached Nirvana in your strong arms
And then
The shit hit the fan
If it was only possible
To rewind to that time
When my hand slid into yours
Like silk
And I melted in your arms
Like butter
And we kissed for hours
We moved in time and our rhythm
Was a spiritual song a gospel hymn
And how I still long
To again sing my October song
With you providing backup
And front up top up and bottom up
That sweet melody
You were the magician
Who captivated my attention
You filled me to completion
Brought my fantasies to fruition
Magical Hawaiian King
You were my hot spring
Of passion
And yet all these years later
After you cast me aside
It is time to exorcise you
From my mind
So goodbye Big K
You have been replaced
With another song and another face
