I Say To Feel Is Just O So Real
You Say That Is Just So Surreal
I Cry Out In Pain And Misery
You Just Say That's The Way It Is Meant To Be
I Say It's Hell To Walk On Razor's Blade
You Just Say That's How The World Is Made
Why Can't You Know Me , Show Me A Way Out ?

The mirror , or looking glass , reflects so many things ,
and levels of body and psyche ; a most helpful , yet a
deadly tool it can be !

That means a lot to me , especially because it was another
poem written from the heart , spur of the moment , last nite ;
I could see and hear everything played out in my mind ,
yet the totality of feeling was there and it was gut level ;
Many years ago , I belonged to a website which had a group
called the "Empathic Bunker" , for people who were natural
"Empaths" and felt overwhelmed by feeling in "normal life"
to tell their stories , discuss experiences , and ask questions
about shielding , grounding , and other techniques to cope
with this so called "disorder"...feeling "overly much" ;
I am one of those who gets overwhelmed easily , as I "feel"
the pain of others in my body , if they are projecting anger ,
drama , sorrow , etc...
If I encounter that , I have to ask them to "turn the volume
of emotion down" , or I have to walk away...;)
There are many in life who have this , in varying degrees , and
most people are not aware of just how intense it can be...
When it is good , it is really , really good...when it is bad...
It is really , really bad...;)
