Stuck in the maze

 Confined by the walls
 atoms of my room
They seemed to be closing in on me
As the sharp voice of Anderson Paak
Shoots from my stereo
Ricocheting on my walls like a pinball
Ruthlessly piercing my eardrums
Right through to my insides

Glaring at the blinds, my eyes glued like
They had frost, daring not to blink
I was lost in my thoughts
Trying to do the most

Procatsination was now
a fragment of my soul
And it came at a fee
But no this time
I was tired of bundling up my feels
It got worse everytime I saw her
My heart had become very heavy
It was time to pour it all out

Rehearsing the lines I wld utter
I perfected without a stutter
"I got this"  I muttered

I barely caught the wave of sleep
the thoughts of my words were seafloor deep

Going about my daily routine
I saw her from a mile away
Like a diamond in the rough
Her twinkling smile seperated her from the swarm
Of the buzzing crowd

As she came closer
Disaster struck
the words that had drove me insane
evaporated at the tip of my tongue
And condensed back into my brain

I gazed at the lotus flower
That resided in the waters of her soul
The reason she was perfect
from the word go
"Hi" is all i could say
 As i faded into dismay

Just another day
Trapped in the maze
