Forest bathing in Japan
sanctity for the immune
system of nature.
Forests of healing
sometimes walking,
sometimes sitting
letting nature pour into all your senses.
Sitting with PTSD hearing birds and crickets,
smelling the rich earth,
and fresh scent of pine trees.
Warding off depression in Finland with
moss underneath feet,
and coastlines wrapped
with lapping healing tides.
Starfish washed onto the shores
and crisp fresh ocean air
cleansing the stuffy treelines of
its carbon puffs and oxygen loops.
How do you feel
through the wilderness
or on your city street?
sanctity for the immune
system of nature.
