Four Senses
She fills her senses
Much as she can
With everything around her
Searching with open eyes,
Beauty visible at
Every turn
Breathing in
Sweet pungent scents
Mountainous air
Listening to the wind
Rustling through the small
Orchard of nectarine trees
Fruit ripe for picking
She cannot resist
The delectable taste
She lay on the grass,
Sun warming her skin,
Missing only the more
The feel and touch
of him beside her ...
Much as she can
With everything around her
Searching with open eyes,
Beauty visible at
Every turn
Breathing in
Sweet pungent scents
Mountainous air
Listening to the wind
Rustling through the small
Orchard of nectarine trees
Fruit ripe for picking
She cannot resist
The delectable taste
She lay on the grass,
Sun warming her skin,
Missing only the more
The feel and touch
of him beside her ...
