Mercy

God your mercy poured out on us
yet we are not worthy
you wash our feet and cleanse us ( 1 john 13:5 )
through your son, our Lord Jesus
you cleanse us of our sin ( 1 John 1:17)
Such a celebration to serve a loving God
that should be enough to keep me humble
Still, I bow down and pray for your mercy
for myself, family and even thine enemies
who of us walks with no sin? ( 1 John 1:8 - 2 Corinthians 5:21)
I for one will try to judge none but myself (Mathew 7:1)
according to your will
I must must learn to love more
not just to some but to all ( 1 John 4:7, and so many other verses)
Oh God your wisdom continues to fill me
Keep me submerged in your
truth, righteousness and Love.
enough to spill on others.
