My Choice
you didn't have to break my heart
I did it for you
I believed your soulful eyes
right up to the bitter end
knowing better than to hold onto dreams of being the woman
you would cherish
the one you would come home
to every night and make love to
your eyes lied and I foolishly
believed them
longer than I care to admit
but nonetheless it was my choice
to let you stay
I did it for you
I believed your soulful eyes
right up to the bitter end
knowing better than to hold onto dreams of being the woman
you would cherish
the one you would come home
to every night and make love to
your eyes lied and I foolishly
believed them
longer than I care to admit
but nonetheless it was my choice
to let you stay
