Winter
Where is the Summer in your eyes?
I once gazed my hate in them
A hazel wonderland,
Now gray and cold I wonder,
“Where has the Summer gone?”
Can you see the crystalline skies?
You gave me an ultimatum.
A line drawn in sand,
Now blurred and set asunder,
“Where has the Summer gone?”
Are you blind to the fear inside?
I know your lies verbatim.
A fallen warrior in my hand,
Now unwilling and outnumbered,
“Where has the Summer gone?”
Is this the end of your battle cries?
I don't ruin lives, I create them.
A God of sorts, here I stand,
Now before you, as rolling thunder.
“Where has the Summer gone?”
I once gazed my hate in them
A hazel wonderland,
Now gray and cold I wonder,
“Where has the Summer gone?”
Can you see the crystalline skies?
You gave me an ultimatum.
A line drawn in sand,
Now blurred and set asunder,
“Where has the Summer gone?”
Are you blind to the fear inside?
I know your lies verbatim.
A fallen warrior in my hand,
Now unwilling and outnumbered,
“Where has the Summer gone?”
Is this the end of your battle cries?
I don't ruin lives, I create them.
A God of sorts, here I stand,
Now before you, as rolling thunder.
“Where has the Summer gone?”
