A memory in the haze of my mind
& I find my soul weeping in the dark
strung out on a 6 hour call

...as ever, Kandice. I wonder if the haze of "your" mind might work better - but what do I know. Great title and a killer last line.

i also love the title. whole poem, really. & I find my soul weeping in the dark
strung out on a 6 hour call brilliant line. even though it does say that soon or later there will be an end to everything, the poem provokes pleasant sadness. i can't understand why. probably because of the unusual images, metaphors you are using. liked it a lot
