Float Like Concrete
Covered in this skin
Existing for a finite eternity
Relative senses poking and prodding
at the fabled dialect of my why's and how's
It all seems so simple
Lunging through
the metaphorical rings of flame
Just to find salvation
in the smoke break
Waiting on the other side
Before bounding through
The next obstacle
life has to offer
I come to question
The same problems
As if I hadn't had a cigarette
Just a minute ago
How troublesome it is
Finding hope where doubt decays
And doubt where hope once thrived

That's a great question , seems to me like there's always hope for the future regardless of the circumstance of our personal and shared worlds . Some find hope in the darkest and lowest of times ; while others find doubt in the brightest of situations.
To me the world is merely a reflection of those who inhabit and perceive it .
