Growing
Growing
My darkness grows like the night
Soon I will never see the mornings light
Whispered voices cry out my pain
As my urges I can no longer tame
Wrist or throat which one will it be
They both would be relief to me
The madness is locked out or in
Either way I can no longer win
Stuck where I wish to no longer be
Trapped alone with no one else but me
Depression and anxiety my two friends
There is only one way for you two to end
Inching closer as it quicker grows somehow
The rope hangs on the tree's bough
Drop through the night's trap door
Until it cannot grow anymore
My darkness grows like the night
Soon I will never see the mornings light
Whispered voices cry out my pain
As my urges I can no longer tame
Wrist or throat which one will it be
They both would be relief to me
The madness is locked out or in
Either way I can no longer win
Stuck where I wish to no longer be
Trapped alone with no one else but me
Depression and anxiety my two friends
There is only one way for you two to end
Inching closer as it quicker grows somehow
The rope hangs on the tree's bough
Drop through the night's trap door
Until it cannot grow anymore
