Smiles and Sunlight
Now smiles and sunlight re-enter my life
The darkness is gone; the wrongs are now right
Rose trees and flowers are coming in bloom
My life will return to me, return soon
Cherry cola and some rose lemonade
Think what would have happened if I had stayed
In the past forever, stuck on mistakes
Know now that the way is the risks I take
Drink to my progress, the way I smile here
And all of the things I've learned to hold dear
Toast to my achievement, I can stand proud
Punch, kick my pain but tell my joy out loud
Look how far I’ve come, look how far I’ve come
My work never ends, but soon will be done

I can feel the happiness and joy through this piece... It reads as one that has gone through the darkness and has now reached their light..... New chapter, new phase of life which is a new beginning... Cheers....
