Crash
This poem is not for you
Im writing this for myself
Because holding these feelings inside
Can not be good for my health
And you will never read this
Because you will never care
And im just left with peices
of what i thought could never tear
It was never meant to last
But whyd it have to end so fast?
You took my heart out for a joy ride
And then ran out of gas
But theres no use in dwelling
on what was in the past
Staring at a faded picture
behind some dusty glass
we'll just let it slip right through our fingers
Let it fall
Let it crash

But sometimes we need to grieve the loss...that is what I take from this. Wonderfully expressed.

Awesome! I write really most of my poetry for myself. It is a creative outlet and a form of therapy for me. I am terrible at talking to people, but I express myself best through poetry. I am really a serious person. My fun-loving alcoholic friends don't really appreciate that. But, my husband loves me no matter what crazy things I do. I rarely share my poetry with people because I am too serious for them, and I make them uncomfortable. But, I can say anything I want to in a poem, because, as I said, I write for myself. I love it when other people appreciate my poetry, though. That's why this website is going to be good for me.

thanks for that but.. that was over long ago.. im ok with that.. im still tring to get over someone else who hurt me on a deeper level.. but theres no hard feelings between me and this one... thanks tho
