Do fish know...?

Do fish know they look like angels
from the bottom of the sea?
How they float, how they fly
and how they look so free.

As a crab on the seafloor
I’m used to the dark.
But sometimes I dream
of flying free like a shark.

When the sunlight engulfes them
and their halo shines bright
Do they feel the warmth
that is carried with the light?

Is the water up there warmer?
Is it clearer where they are?
I never tried to rise up there
Cause the way up seems so far.
