Prologue to Kindreds Embrace
-Darkness.
-A single word that can freeze some people in place. Though others it embodies. The word that describes the embraced. Everywhere we are it dwells.
-"Slayde come on, we need to go!" A soft voice soothed as a warm hand took mine.
-The ashes were blowing away into the darkness. My mother and father would have told me it was okay to cry. That is was okay to let myself go. But they are dead and nothing could have stopped that from happening. Especially because it happened over 500 years ago.
-"Slayde they will be fine. We must go, it's not all over yet, not until I say." Someone else said.
Shadow, oh how I loathed him. That guy, my cousin, he had it all now. The money, the looks, and the girl.
-She was so beautiful, caring and held power that she hated so much. She blamed them for her parents also being dead, and for everything that has happened.
-"Don't envy him, no not even I would envy him." She told me softly, resting her hand on my cheek.

Please when you read my work give me some honest ideas. i see that a few people have read it and i dont know what to think of it. A spur of the moment idea!
