there is always a question on how far we can go in acts of war and invasion - unfortunately humans will always overstep the boundries - gas is more humane than tank destroying a city or drone strikes above - its a sick and broken world - that's what I get from the raw nerve of a poem :-))))))))))))

War is a disgusting business, all boundaries are ultimately abandoned.  Goebbels asked his audience late in WWII, do you want total war?  The crowd roared their approval.
That's how it always goes, so lets not pretend we can conduct a humane or a just war.  Know when we support war, what monstrosity we are condoning.

Yep, this is a hit, Northern. The whole concept from the artwork to the words is spot on. I was waiting for the 'but' at the end & I'm glad it came. I think this poem should be reproduced in student mags (if there is such a thing) & various left-wing publications. This poem makes a statement & has a lot going for it. It's true, currently, politicians are preoccupied with chemical warfare violations.

kind of like what;s happening Syria.  Assad kills his people in just every way  that you wrote, and countries let it happen, but then gas and opps that;s a no no, when in truth the entire world should have stood at at first and said stop or you Assad you die, maybe it would be different.  to much evil and egos all the way around.  Anyway that;s what your poet had me thinking about.  Keep letting your ink flow.

The poem is about one way of killing people during war painted as worse than another and made into some sort of war crime when the whole act of war itself is a crime.  That's what it meant.

You totally hit it there....
War is war is war....anybody who thinks that there is a clean or humane war has their head up their ass. Not even to mention torture camps...
There are also often narritives cooked up to demonize other countries and to justify those wars. Devious scenarios engineered by covert ops and various braches of military intelligence, propagandized through TeeVee into people's heads.
The whole thing disgusts the shit out of me.

Thank you for your well informed comment.  You describe the appalling situation precisely, but i live in hope that folks are waking up in larger groups.  i maintain their big mistake was the internet, they opened Pandora's box.  Sure they try to use it and regulate it to their advantage but people all over the world in contact with each other, sharing information, that is something very hard to control.

Yes, there was a window when the internet first came on...around 9/11, lots of good info, even original documents to download. Everything was up for grabs for us who wanted it. I am glad I took advantage back then. Now it's a whole different game...you know it. Where it all goes in the end?

That's about the same time i came into full realization of what's going on.  A fellow i knew through a different subject sent me all kinds of files and info shortly after 9/11.

i believe we will win, i think their bag of tricks is emptying, i think they´re unimaginative psychos with delusions of grandeur.  i think they underestimate the real power that is people united.  i think they have invested too much, i think they need too high a return, i think their whole house of cards is about to tumble down and i think we better come up with a plan of what will come after.
