Love True
She cried, "I love you"
Her tears were not few
His last breath he drew
Her love for him knew
No boundaries to
The kind of love true
Together time flew
Now he was gone too
She loved his eyes blue
What was she to do?
His death she would rue
Oh my! Continue?
Everyone sat through
The heartwrenching view
Of two lovers new
The play gave no cue
Of ending nor clue
Who started the coup?
The ending plot grew
The tears were but due.
Her tears were not few
His last breath he drew
Her love for him knew
No boundaries to
The kind of love true
Together time flew
Now he was gone too
She loved his eyes blue
What was she to do?
His death she would rue
Oh my! Continue?
Everyone sat through
The heartwrenching view
Of two lovers new
The play gave no cue
Of ending nor clue
Who started the coup?
The ending plot grew
The tears were but due.

I know how hard it can be to sustain a rhyme for even 4 lines, yet you've done it for 20...well done!

Re. Love True
I enjoyed how the end of the poem reflects the descent of the scene in question.
