Lost Soul Adrift (In An Urban Dystopia).
Adrift in an urban dystopia
The city seeps into my mind
Seems others suffer myopia
It feels so hard to find
Those I truly connect with
A corner to call a home
Is it really any wonder
I think of a life alone?
Alone, a sweet monotony
Like white noise, no control
White noise, white light, white heat
Burns my ears, my eyes, my soul
Still never drowns out the question!
Why do I feel so all alone?
