Orion

Underneath the night sky  
watching the stars like jewels adorning the night  
 
My mind becomes dreamy  
taking me to mystical planes  
where the cosmos is alive  
   
Dancing amongst the night sky  
the stars rain down flecks of gold  
as they race from the heavens and kiss my skin  
   
Adoring my hair with stardust  
dressing me with the night herself  
   
I'm ready for the galaxy ball  
there my lover awaits  
Orion the hunter  
   
In all his masculine splendor  
he tells me i've been awaiting this night for a millenium  
kisses me gently and takes me in his strong arms  
   
We begin to dance as my heart skips a beat  
his steps like fire blaze a path across the heavens  
   
Dancing the night away with my immortal love  
underneath the moon in all her glory  
gives me a feeling of such bliss  
   
I fall asleep in his arms  
after a night of passionate love making  
I awaken to the morning and shake the stardust from my hair  
   
Turn to my husband and realize it was him, my hunter  
with his beautiful topaz eyes
