Rivers Bend
In the middle of the night,
far from human sight.
Lying in the demons bed,
visions of her piercing the head.
Taking deep breaths in the heart,
no longer feeling like an important part. Death is now the only thought,
oh the raging deamons the soul has fought.
Words of prayer beg for the body to stay, but the heart keeps screaming no way!
To the earth is the only place,
The visions seem to pick up the pace.
Endless food placed on the table,
Horses put back in the stable.
All but the tears are gone,
And the lonely silent bone.
Promises and threats went out,
But they all thought he was so stout.
Down by the lonely river bend,
Is where he brought the final end.
