Take care of my human
until I return
I have to go now
I know it's my turn
He is broken and scarred
and afraid of the light
but he keeps you safe
and he holds you tight
He may be cold
when it's winter outside
but has the warmest of hearts
beating inside
He loves you dearly
and shows it each day
so please stay with him,
don't go away
As for I have to go now
and I know he will hurt
so you have to watch him
stay at his side here on earth.
