Rubberband Man
He crept in during my slumber
leaving on my finger a ring of rubber.
Told my family. Yeah, I laughed it off.
Gave him a name, Rubberband Man.
Told my "friend" as he was driving my ride, about my hand.
Said, "Well if you aren't him, I may want to be cautious."
He said, "not me". I felt it in my throat. Yes I was nauseous.
Laughed it off some more,
Not knowing what to come would chill me to my core.
Thrill me of my bore.
Kill me of my sure.
