I've been writing since I was about 13. It's a release.I don't write every day.Very random,erratic writings. Nowadays after I write a few entries I burn my words. Tried burning written words, actually did a few paintings, now trying poetry.

I Will Not Ask
I will not ask for an ending. The longer I wait the more my bones are bending.
I will not ask for an I'm sorry, for an apology, seeing it could be my fault for letting your follies be.
I will not ask the reasons why, for you will not say; you're merely a chicken that doesn't fly.
I will not ask "Whats ifs". My mind will just turn in turmoil as memories resurface and shift.
I will not ask for a kind word, I so very often should've heard.

All those minutes, hours, and years.
Stay wedged between my ears.
Though I've shed too many tears.
I was able to face my fear.
I am not scared if I have to wait.
If I never go on another date.
When I saw him the world screamed, "FATE."

Best Friend Goodbye
We were never good at goodbyes.
I hated when it was time for him to fly.
Time well spent going in depth together.
If only we had come unfettered.
Instead we would part after days and days.
We would spend our next meeting starting over, as if
all the time before was a sort of haze.
Then once we found our way back to that comfort zone,
something would still seem wrong.
It got to where I wouldn't say us. I wouldn't say we.
I was thrilled he was there, but remained to feel alone.
There was a secret we both kept.
Though, I did bring it...

The Pear
The pear. The green pear sitting there.
Hadn't moved since I moved in.
On the center of my shelf.
No my sanity wasn't wearing thin.
I enter the kitchen to make morning coffee.
I notice the pear. The green pear not sitting there.
Walked by it every morning. No one had been over for me to see.
The pear, sitting two inches to the right. But how?
Had it taken flight, overnight?
I knew that to not be true.
The pear. The green pear sitting there had been moved.
If I had asked my "best friend", would he have said who?
The one that moved...

Steady
I don't know why it's said it's darkest just before dawn.
As I heard his steady gait drawing nearer and nearer, that small silent town, what existed in darkness, became clearer and clearer. He was a venerable young fella, determined, peaceful, becoming a man, up before dawn to beat the noise and the mess. It eased me hearing him come and watching him pass. I adored every morning I would catch him at that moment. It was just he and I not another sound. Not knowing the future, one day I came to know him well, I knew who I had found, and, dang it, I fell.

Pink Flamingo
Pink Flamingo was the shade, from the condom it did not fade.
Too brilliant a pink. What was I to think?
It lay on the floor by where I slept, covered in that pink that I'd wore on my lips.
But, No, not that night. No, not that day.
So I glance at the condom.
Like, was I to be afraid?
What would one think?
Someone's definite presence.
A troubled soul had been in my home, could've proved it with my phone.
All I did was throw it away, discard all thoughts, and continue to let him roam.
After all, I wasn't frightened. Not shocked or dismayed. ...

Dumpster Diver
Angry at my bathroom,
threw away the rug and toilet cover.
Out to the dumpster with every green thread in tact.
So unthinkable some would make their way back.
First, scattered down the hall,
a week or more gone,
floor cleaned since,
waiting under my bed was more with my prince.
Weird, you say?
I had yet begun to pray.
Randomly appearing for weeks to come,
yes, most definitely, something had begun.
