Slipped up

You said you didn't expect me to be perfect
But once I slipped up and got sad for even a moment
You got mad at me for distracting you from your happy new life
One I wish you would invite me into
You said all you wanted was for me to try..
Can't you see how much effort I'm putting in?
I'm trying so hard...
I'm scared to open up to you
If I shake you, you will break
Maybe I should remain silent
