Scattered Feathers: Part 1
She succumbed to the venom
which sputtered as a fire from the tip of a tongue.
It was a certain weapon.
It was a special kind of loaded gun.
Why did you empty it?
Why did you use her as a bullet?
That Copy-Paste-Send button
was the pulling of the trigger,
why did you decide to use it?
Once it was sent, it was a ticking bomb,
And there was no way to defuse it.
The level of damage increased
as the more and more people viewed it.
You blew it.

I'm attached to you
Wherever you go, I'll follow
I'll stick with you
Through whatever high or low
I'll hold you steady,
as I sink to the ocean floor
Because You are the one
I'm willing to settle for
My heart you've stole
So I'll stay rooted
Gladly accept this role
I won't dispute it
In color I am dull
But Am I also stupid?
I'm never part of your hull
I'm of temporary usage
At first you appreciated it
But then you got too used
You felt entitled to it

Speechless (2012)
The closest I ever came to love
Was with the girl 5 doors to the left
Of my old place, when I first met her
She swept me off my feet
If anyone could hear it
They would dance to the beat
Of my heart
Which paced faster than that Bolt Usain.
Some days later you was like
"Kapulwa, Hey"
And I was like
💭Damn! She knows my name! 💭
"Uh, hey!"
I couldn't say much at the time
I was too shy to make her mine
Too weak, that's true
Too scared to know
If she wanted me too
Be it flying, walking on...

Diamonds
What creates a troubled soul?
An unachieved goal
He had his heart stole
By a girl he gave his all
Had a ball, at the start
But like graphite flaked part by part
The soft fabrics of his heart
Got easily torn apart
From a state of bliss
travelled to a dark abyss
Route One is this
A Judas Kiss
She didn't want to be idle
So threw him in a spiral
A raffle with rivals
It's a vicious cycle
Reduce, Re-use, Recycle
"Because All men are trash"
That's what you conclude
But you have...

The Storm That Blew My Heart Away
A storm was coming, and I received no warning alert.
I'd dance on the boundaries of paradise, to avoid hurt.
I felt that I would resist it, that my heart was inert.
I felt that I would survive the storm, but that didnt work.
Now I look to my horizon
And you are all that I see
I must admit, that terrifies me
You swept me away effortlessly
But caught in your waves
is where I want to be.
Like the Moon's grip on the sea
You have got hold of me.
I'm spinning around
in your hurricane.
But it's not what I thought,...

Noon
I've received an invitation to dance, but I'm belly aching.
I'm too fit to be tied, my whole body is shaking.
I'm fixen to hang fire, I can't stop deliberating.
Decided that I will die standing up, but don't find that invigorating.
So I'm a. . .
Dead man walking. . .
Make way. . . Make way.
I move slowly but with purpose. . .
No Brains.
Limping on, broken, but there's no pain.
Despite different efforts, there's no change.
What's there to hope in? My sense of dread is deepening.
Murky past and misty future, I cannot...

I'm an open book
That you don't wanna read
When I try plant the tree
You throw away the seed
Sometimes I feel invisible
A chameleon in the trees

I have a camouflage

Lighthouse
I am lost at sea
Tsunami waves crashing around me
Not physically, but emotionally
And more profoundly
Despite the dark situation
I will be brave
Just a little ray to light my way
Then I will ride out the wave
There is no sign of a bay
There is scurvy decay
The storm wind makes me sway
Almost blows me away
Despite the dark situation
I will be brave
Just a little ray to light my way
Then I will ride out the wave
How I miss the sun
Lack of salt water on my tongue ...

I think I'm in a dream
Blended oh so perfectly
Like peaches and cream
So blinding white just like a beam
I'm seeing the unseen

I think this is a dream
Coz baby you enchanted me

There is something beautiful about a sunrise. The way the light gradually eats away the darkness. The streaks of gold and blue licking away the black from the sky. The warmth replacing the cold, a Dawn, a new day. All our lives are like that, we have beautiful dawns. Wonderful times that come after challenges that we go through. These challenges are like dusk, and the harsh nights that follow. Let me explain them by means of a story.

Rock Bottom
I have dreams, I fear nightmares, but I don't see either.
I'm wide awake at the dead of night, I have a sleep eater.
It's been a quarter of a century so far, and it won't get easier.
I'm slowly dying inside, collapsing faster than a meteor.
Yeah, I'm free falling and this is not a hypnic jerk.
Got pushed off cloud nine, the test flight didn't work.
Landed at rock bottom and it really hurt.
Broke to pieces, now I have less worth.
I fear that I won't be able to put myself back together.
I fear that the coming years won't get any better. ...

No Pride
I'm an outcast, I've been chased away from my tribe.
I'm a young maned lion and I have no pride.
I've been bit, bruised and scarred, man I almost died.
I'm a predator on the run, and there isn't a place to hide.
No one at my side, the loneliness overwhelms me.
As well as the dangers out there that I can and cannot see.
Dangers that move ever so subtly through the static in the trees.
While the rays of sunlight torch me, I am an easy target in the cool breeze.
Crouching down low, then freeze, with leaves around me shuffling.
Lips curl away...
I'm a young maned lion and I have no pride.
