Enough
I’ve had enough of it
I thirst for something new.
Enough to make me want to die
Enough to make me spew
These lethargic tired eyes
That wish to be no more
Are again and again
Greeted by these
Oh so too familiar walls
Those same old words
Plastered over
The same certain
Stagnant thoughts and opinions
Hidden
You can see their shapes
Amongst the ripples in the curtains
I thirst for something new.
Enough to make me want to die
Enough to make me spew
These lethargic tired eyes
That wish to be no more
Are again and again
Greeted by these
Oh so too familiar walls
Those same old words
Plastered over
The same certain
Stagnant thoughts and opinions
Hidden
You can see their shapes
Amongst the ripples in the curtains
