Waste Not a Moment
It is 4 a.m. as I sit and watch a documentary, interviewing parents of the Sandy Hook school children shot and killed on December 14th, 2012.
Between all the emotions I am feeling at this time, the one that stands out most is how many times I have not hugged my grandchildren and told them how much I love them when the chance to do so was present.
Please. I beg each of you who have children, regardless of any current family situation, if you can reach your child, hold them, hug them, tell them how much you love them. do so the very first instant you can.
I implore you, not to waste a single second to appreciate how blessed you are to have the opportunity to do so.
PLEASE, not only for their sake, but FOR YOUR OWN as well.
